Landscape Design and Consulting

We offer services from garden coach consulting, to full CAD drawings for Council building and resource consent. We can provide Planting and landscape plans for Resource Consent purposes on new build houses and developments. We liaise with the relevant engineers required when undertaking work such as large retainers or swimming pools so we can take your wishes from the initial consultation through to Council consented plans with full working drawings and specifications for contractors.

Contracting

As a Landscape Design and Build firm we are able to offer services from initial consultation through to completion, including all earthworks, retainers, pools, decks, fencing, masonry walls, paths, driveways, gates, gardens, lawns, sculpture, lighting and irrigation. We have permanent staff with high skill levels in a variety of trades and after more than 20 years in business we have developed great relationships with excellent subcontractors and suppliers.

Plant Supply

We are able to source and deliver plants directly from wholesale nurseries around the country.

Garden Coaching

For DIY clients we can provide consultation and garden coaching, construction and hard landscaping advice and we can also assist in supplying plants and materials.

Project Management

By managing your project from start to finish we are able to provide efficient, high quality results with a project that runs as smoothly as possible. Nigel Cameron has been a keen sailor and boatie for the last 35 years and after 20 years of landscape contracting has a fair appreciation of the impact weather can have. By constantly watching the weather forecasts on a number of different sites and planning around the weather and seasons we are able to ensure a more efficient project.

Custom Features and Sculpture

We have designed and built many interesting custom water features, walls, outdoor fire places and sculptures. It is this artistic talent that has seen Cameron Landscape Design win 4 Gold awards and a silver at the Ellerslie Flower Show in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s.

Signature Style

Cameron Landscape Design is known for producing a clean elegant style that traces its roots back to the Modernist Architecture of the 60’s. Being taught to draw at an early age by an Architect father has certainly had an impact. The use of cantilevered decks and walkways, both in timber and concrete, to create a floating effect is a styleCameron Landscape Design are well known for and a great number of our projects have been published over the years.
