Planting Style

In our contemporary landscapes we often plant in a style that is a stylised representation of nature. The Auckland region comprises of very many different microclimates and diverse social history that require unique plant selection and design to achieve the often aspired low maintenance yet stunning garden. Soil quality and correct drainage are paramount for plant and lawn health. We use exclusively Daltons soil mixes and tailor them for different plantings. The quality of our Rolawn turf lawns laid on Daltons lawn mix over herringbone drainage is second to none. The Selliera Radican lawns are a New Zealand native no mow ground cover lawn which we have perfected over the last 10 years. Weed with salt water! We also plant a lot of the instant hedges from Twinings Valley Nursery in our more formal or heritage gardens.
